All-Ukrainian Olympiad in Astronomy and Astrophysics
An open olympiad run by the Department of Astronomy and Space Physics of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, with an online qualifying round and a final of theoretical and practical rounds.
About
The olympiad has been organised since 2007 by the Department of Astronomy and Space Physics at the Faculty of Physics. It starts with an internet olympiad as a qualifying stage, followed by a final with short theoretical, theoretical and practical rounds.
It is deliberately open: undergraduate students and school pupils of any grade can take part, with no age restriction. For many participants it is the entry point into astronomy as a subject one can actually study and work in.
