Junior Academy of Sciences research competition
The all-Ukrainian competition-defence of student research works, one of the flagship activities of the Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, with a dedicated Physics and Astronomy department.
About
In this competition school pupils carry out their own research projects and then defend them before a jury, rather than solving set problems. It is one of the leading events of the Junior Academy of Sciences, aimed at the creative and intellectual development of young people.
The Physics and Astronomy department covers four sections: theoretical physics, applied physics, aerophysics and space research, and astronomy. Pupils working in the astronomy section study celestial bodies, astrophysics and observational techniques, and the best of them go on to international competitions.
The Junior Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is also a partner of the Space Radio for Ukraine project.
